Pilates
Pilates is a very well known discipline, a system of low impact exercises concentrating on your core and control of the body.
There are so many benefits of practicing Pilates:
- finding and strengthening the abdominal muscles
- understanding the importance of the core in any movement
- improved posture and alignment of your body
- improved stability and mobility of the joints, and much more
If you never exercised before I would recommend Pilates to you. People who practice it regularly and understand Pilates principles not only experience all the benefits listed above but they also discover their new selves. All the things you do in everyday life will see a physical improvement along with experiencing an increased sense of mental well being.
I’m certified with Balanced Body Inc., I strongly believe in their method of teaching as they are one of very few that are at the forefront of the Pilates methodology.
I currently teach Pilates Mat and I incorporate a lot of props such as Pilates arc, rollers, balance balls, small weights, Pilates rings.
